Cook Medical to start operation in Shanghai

United States-based Cook Medical, one of the world's largest private medical device companies, announced its first regional shared service complex in Asia will start operations in Shanghai early next month to serve Asia's rapidly expanding medical market.

The complex consisting of a distribution center and customer service center with 50 million yuan (US$7.27 million) investment will help enhance product delivery speed in Asia Pacific for the company, which forecast a 50-percent sales rise in Asia next year.
