@qixing7577: Difficulty and high cost of getting medical service used to be major issues in China. As people mockingly say: A trip to the hospital could cost you your savings from the past decades. However, things are improving. The government has adopted a rural cooperative medical system, under which patients are partly reimbursed by government finance. This has largely reduced the cost of medical services.

@ 120030309: China's health care reform will be deepened in 2012. We are all concerned with the following issues. What changes will be made to the medical system reform in 2013? How much progress has been made in the field of public hospital reform and the pilot programs for single-disease payments and clinical pathways? What changes will be brought to the medical care sector by adjusting the charging model of medical services and adopting the critical illnesses insurance program?

@hestercss: Currently, the medical insurance of university students has not yet been effectively implemented. This has resulted in issues including complicated medical procedures, difficulties in obtaining specialized medical services, the inability to choose appointed hospitals at will, and the inability to be reimbursed at local clinics. Because of the difficulties in medical reimbursement, some university students are experiencing cash shortages. The 18th Party Congress needs to address this issue!!!

@64939219: Do village clinics belong to primary medical organizations? Are rural doctors members of the country's medical service crew? If the answer is yes, then when can all the rural doctors enjoy the outcomes of China's medical reform? When can they have the same social status as their counterparts in urban areas? I hope the government will list rural doctors as formal doctors!

@wangqingxian: The government has adopted integrated pathways for the management of rural health services. However, we need to list rural doctors as formal doctors and integrate the development of village clinics into the development program of township hospitals. Only in doing so, can we provide better medical service to the people.

@liuyong007: On the eve of the 18th Party Congress and led by Party Secretary of Seman Health Center GuliNuer, doctors and nurses came to Kashgar's Canyou Group and brought with them medical equipment to provide our employees with a free physical examination. GuliNuer vowed to continue providing such support to our Group. Thank you to GuliNuer for the support and encouragement. Canyou Group will have a bright future ahead with such help and support!

@zhc66: #Alert# Yet another violent incident has just happened in the ENT department in the southern section of a Beijing hospital. Luckily the doctor's life is not in danger. With the 18th Party Congress coming up, rampant criminal activities like this persist. The doer should be given a heavy sentence. Fellow medical workers, please watch out for yourselves!

@xinxh: My mother asked me to raise a proposal for the 18th Party Congress. I'm no CPC delegate, but I want to represent myself. I hope the government can address the issues of medical care transfer and reimbursement in different cities of retired elderly people who have only one child and live with this child in provinces other than its registered permanent residence. It's closely connected to the reunion of families and the happiness of the people, therefore I hope both Party and government will attach great importance to these issues.

@sujingtao888: China's medical insurance system cannot cover the country's entire population. I know it's highly unlikely for the system to cover all 1.4 billion people, but I hope the government will be able to find more ways to improve the situation. The current rural cooperative medical system and basic medical insurance program for urban residents have helped to ease the situation, but the gap is still very big.

@fy2354097994: I hope the 18th Party Congress would focus on the following issues: Increasing investment in the medical sector, improving the medical environment, and protecting the safety and dignity of all medical workers.

@peterfangjianping: What the government really needs to do is to increase investment in rural medical care, pension and education funds, and narrow the gap of wealth. These are the problems that they should lend more thought to.

@shiyingyin6591: I'm looking forward to the opening of the 18th Party Congress. In the meanwhile, I hope there will be more delegates from the medical sector. I hope the government will be able to improve the welfare of primary medical workers, ease the tension between medical workers and patients, and increase investments in medical reform!

@wxzerg: There are some major problems with China's education and medical sectors. I wonder if the 18th Party Congress will roll out some new policies to address these issues. We ordinary people are really overburdened.
