@weibowhy9978: The 18th Party congress has proposed to "build a beautiful country and achieve sustained development of the Chinese nation." For the first time, the government has incorporated ecological progress into the country's overall development plan. This addition has warmed the hearts of numerous Chinese people. However, it's not easy to protect our natural environment and put a stop to the excessive consumption of its resources and counter pollution. Many vested interests will be threatened. Let's join hands to build a beautiful country together!

@woxinfeixiang2727: The 18th Party congress has for the first time included the creation of an ecological civilization into the country's overall development plan in a separate section. This is progress!

@l595695339: The 18th Party congress has designated the protection of the ecological environment as a key project. However, many places in China have witnessed severe environmental damage during the decades since the reform and opening up. Yet the government didn't take it seriously until now. No matter how much we invest in improving the environment, we'll never bring back the original ecological environment.

@shandongli2833: I hope the 18th Party congress can pay more attention to environmental issues. I hope the congress will be a great success!

@ddtxzfzbc: Mankind's existence depends on the environment and our development depends on its resources. We have already exhausted our coal supplies in Beipiao and Naniao, and there isn't much coal left in Fuxin. The same goes for iron ore in Anshan and Benxi, and crude oil in Daqing, Liaohe and Shengli. The rare earths, of which we are so proud, are being over- exploited and -exported. Environmental damage has happened alongside economic development.

@linzi982920596: The 18th Party congress has lifted ecological progress to a new level. We students who majored in biology and environmental issues are the happiest ones. The country values us, so we must be competent!

@2545845697: Building a beautiful China needs the creation of an ecological civilization. We need a good environment as much as we need capital and funds. However, we will never make money if it means sacrificing the environment.

@zhangshuqi3436: The slogan "Beautiful China" was mentioned in the report of the 18th Party congress. Faced with increasing resource constraints, severe environmental pollution and a deteriorating ecosystem, we must raise our ecological awareness and the need to respect, accommodate to and protect nature. High priority must be given to making ecological progress and incorporating it into all aspects of advancing economic, political, cultural, and social progress. Building a beautiful country requires hard work.

@zqfzqfz: The 18th Party congress asked the question: "What has changed over the past decade?" I would like to answer that question by saying there have been some fundamental changes. People have changed, they turned stone-hearted; the renminbi has changed, it depreciated; things have changed, they turned phony; and the environment has changed, it has been polluted.

@t502247519: The 18th Party congress raised the concepts of ecological environment and ecological agriculture. This is exciting! Twelve years since my return to mainland China and I can now finally the government exerting efforts. Although these efforts are 40 years later than those of Japan, they make for a promising gesture towards us. I believe the Party means what it says. In the past twelve years, Wuhan has witnessed gigantic changes and is catching up with Zhejiang!
