Child, woman killed, 5 others injured in street attack near school in S. China

A man killed an 8-year-old boy and a 70-year-old woman Monday afternoon near a primary school in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, police said.
The suspect, around 40 years old, also injured five other people - two boys, aged 7 and 12, a girl aged 7, and a couple in their 30s - at 4:30 p.m., 400 meters from Xizhen Primary School in Xichang Town, Hepu County.
Police have captured the suspect and are investigating the case.
The injured are being treated in a local hospital.
