The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences on Tuesday unveiled a government-financed history book series on the Republic of China.
The 36 volume-book series consists of a chronicle of historical events from 1905 to 1949 and the biographies of historical figures in politics, economy, military, culture and technology circles.
The series, financed by the Chinese government's National Publishing Fund, was published by Zhonghua Book Company.
