Donations to quake-hit regions reach 16 bln yuan

As of Wednesday noon, donations to China's quake-hit regions had reached 16 billion yuan (2.29 billion US dollars) and 1.764 billion yuan had been forwarded to the earthquake-affected areas, according to the Information Office of State Council.
