Hong Kong actress, singer Kelly Chen announced on Wednesday she will get married to her boyfriend Alex after 16 years of courtship.

Sohu.com reported that Chen announced the news at the last stop of her "Kelly Chen Love Fighters Concert 08" at the Hong Kong Coliseum.

Chen said the marriage would be another stage of her life, but stressed she would not retire after tying the knot.

Many of Chen's fans wished her a happy marriage and said they would continue supporting her when she returns to the screen. This moved the star to tears.

The "Kelly Chen Love Fighters Concert 08" was held from June 13 to June 18 at the Hong Kong Coliseum. It was Chen's first concert in three and a half years. It was also the last event at the coliseum before it closed for renovation.
