The "Love Trace" charity fund established by Taiwan pop singer Keung Hang has been launched in Shanghai with the help of the Shanghai Charity Foundation, Shanghai Evening Post reports.

As the director of the special charity fund, Keung Hang says he tried hard to raise money to pay for medical services for a 13-year-old boy who was suffering from hemophilia in April 2006. The boy, a Shanghai native, passed away last year, and his death made Keung Hang realize that charity requires the participation of people from all walks of life. He initiated the fund in Shanghai to draw attention to the plights of children.

The special charity fund mainly deals with education problems in elementary and junior high schools. This September, the theme song "Love Trace," which Keung Hang created specially for the fund, will be officially released to the media.
