Adjust font size:

After a four-year hiatus from the music scene, pop singer Pu Shu is returning with a new single, his agent said on Tuesday.

Pu Shu's latest offering will be "One 2008th," the theme song of a quake benefit project of the same name, according to Song Ke, president of Taihe Rye Music.

The recording has been completed and the song will be released in the coming days, Song told Sina.com.cn.

Pu Shu's last album, "Life like Summer Flowers," was released in late 2003.

He was due to open the Chinese leg of MTV's Unplugged series late last year, but called off the show, citing health problems.
