Chinese actress Heidi Wang and her daughter Angela Gao have become Beijing Olympic volunteers, the Chongqing Morning Post reports.

Heidi Wang encouraged her daughter, Angela Gao, to also become a volunteer considering her advantage in speaking fluent Chinese and English.

She hopes that her daughter can feel pride in China hosting the Olympics.

After undergoing strict training, they both excitedly became Olympic volunteers, offering their help at the National Stadium, also known as the "Bird's Nest".
