Canadian pop punk star Avril Lavigne's concert entitled "The Best Damn Tour" will travel to China in September, the Information Times reported on Thursday.

Guangzhou is the first stop before the concert travels on to other mainland cities including Shanghai, Beijing and Chongqing.

The singer will probably spend her 24th birthday on September 27 in Guangzhou, the local newspaper said.

Avril Lavigne, who has already released three albums, rocked Shanghai last July.

The singer's 90 minute concert is expected to include such hits as "Girlfriend", "Innocence" and "Forgotten".

The color pink is again expected to feature in Avril's concerts in China. The singer's favorite color will be seen on everything from stage costumes to her guitars and even her piano, the newspaper said.
