Young director Chen Yili will shoot an ad for an international clothes brand featuring mainland actors Liu Ye and Gao Yuanyuan, sina.com reports.

The 10-minute ad marking the brand's 30th anniversary will be shot by an experienced crew on elaborate sets, the same as that in director Chen's virgin product "Blood Brothers", the biggest Chinese blockbuster in 2007.

This ad will tell a story of love and lost, with celebrities sporting the brand's new range.

Chen worked with actor Liu Ye for "Blood Brothers" last year and said he would like Liu to star in each of his future works.

Despite working with Gao Yuanyuan for the first time, she was highly praised by director Chen and is likely to get a leading role in his next film.
