Zac Efron's deadly rumours

Zac Efron's mother was left devastated when she heard a rumour her son had died. The "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" star was the victim of an inaccurate story published by a foreign newspaper claiming he had been killed.

He said: "I was really shocked to find out - and my mom was really upset too when I called and told her." The 20-year-old actor also admits he is not a very good dancer, despite leading many of the set-pieces in all three of the hit Disney films.

He added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "I'm definitely not a dancer. I grew up being into sports and I wasn't trained to move my body in the right way for dancing. "I'm the last one to get any moves correct. In rehearsals it's always, 'OK, one more take for Zac.' " Zac has previously said he would love to star in a remake of classic musical "Grease", which originally starred John Travolta.

He said: "If John was involved I'd do it. But without his consent there's no way I could ever attempt a role like that. That's too hard, he's just too cool. He's a stud!"
