lì li: mài kè, qĭng nĭ yŏu kòng dào wă jiā lái wánr.
丽丽: 麦克,请你有空到我家来玩儿。
Lili: If you have time, please come to my house, Mike.
   
mài kè: hăo de, nĭ shén me shí hòu zài jiā?
麦克: 好的,你什么时候在家?
Mike: Okay, I will. When will you be at home?
   
lì li: chú le gōng zuò, qí tā shí jiān wŏ dōu zài jiā.
丽丽: 除了工作,其它时间我都在家。
Lili: I’ll be at home all the time except at my working hours.
   
mài kè: wŏ xīng qī tiān qù nĭ jiā hăo mā?
麦克: 我星期天去你家好吗?
Mike: May I visit you on next Sunday?
   
lì li: huān yíng, shàng wŭ hái shì xià wŭ?
丽丽: 欢迎,上午还是下午?
Lili: Yes, you are welcome. Morning or afternoon?
   
mài kè: xià wŭ kě yĭ ma?
麦克: 下午可以吗?
Mike: How about afternoon?
   

lì li:

kě yĭ, nà wǒ men yī qĭ chī wăn fàn ba.
丽丽: 可以,那我们一起吃晚饭吧。
Lili: Okay. Let’s have dinner together.
   
mài kè: xiè xiè, wŏ yī dìng qù.
麦克: 谢谢,我一定去。
Mike: Thank you, I will definitely be there. 
   
 
Chinese people usually invite close relatives and good friends to eat or stay home. They provide cordial entertainment for guests. They are not likely to invite a guest without any preparations of entertainment.

约会 yuē huì: appointment

邀请 yāo qĭng: invite

kòng: free time, spare time

jiā: home

玩儿 wánr: play

除了 chú le: except

晚饭 wăn fàn: dinner, supper

一起 yī qĭ: together

上午 shàng wŭ: morning

下午 xià wŭ: afternoon

晚上 wăn shàng: evening
