'Paradise' helps white swans survive the winter
The Sanmenxia Dam area in Henan Province has witnessed rare, continuously snowy weather since winter began last year. Local government purchased 15,000 kilograms of corn and wheat, then scattered the grain around an aquatic area that had thawed out to feed endangered white swans who migrate there annually.
