Lesson Thirty-two Happy Birthday

mài kè:	Jīn tiān shì nĭ de shēng ri, suŏ yĭ wŏ dìng le yí gè shēng rì dàn gào.
麦克：	今天是你的生日，所以我订了一个生日蛋糕。
Mike:	Today is your birthday, so I have ordered a birthday cake.

lì li:	Xiè xie. Dào wŏ jiā qù cān jiā shēng rì yàn huì ba?
丽丽：	谢谢。到我家去参加生日宴会吧?
Lili:	Thank you. How about coming to my house for my birthday party?

mài kè:	Xiè xie nĭ de yāo qĭng.
麦克：	谢谢你的邀请。
Mike:	Thanks for inviting me.

lì li:	Wŏ mā ma zuò de cháng shòu miàn hĕn hăo chī.
丽丽：	我妈妈做的长寿面很好吃。
Lili:	The longevity noodles my mother makes are delicious.

mài kè:	Wŏ men yī qĭ wèi nĭ diăn là zhú, chàng shēng rì gē.
麦克：	我们一起为你点蜡烛，唱生日歌。
Mike:	We can light candles and sing the birthday song to you.

lì li:	Wŏ men kě yĭ biān chī biān liáo, tòng tòng kuài kuài de wánr yí gè wăn shàng.
丽丽：	我们可以边吃边聊，痛痛快快地玩一个晚上。
Lili:	We can chat and eat, the evening will be lots of fun.

mài kè:	Zhù nĭ jiàn kāng cháng shòu.
麦克：	祝你健康长寿。
Mike:	Wish you good health and long life.

lì li:	Wŏ tài nián qīng le, bù néng zhè me shuō.
丽丽：	我太年轻了，不能这么说。
Lili:	I’m too young, you can’t say that.

mài kè:	Nà me zhù nĭ xīn xiăng shì chéng.
麦克：	那么祝你心想事成。
Mike:	Then may all your wishes come true.

lì li:	Xiè xie. Wŏ yŏng yuăn bú huì wàng jì zhè yī tiān.
丽丽：	谢谢。我永远不会忘记这一天。
Lili:	Thank you. I will never forget this day.

中国人过生日，除了吃蛋糕外，还吃长寿面，亲朋好友还说很多祝福的话。
