One Chinese Identified Dead in Jerusalem's Suicide Bombing
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue Saturday identified that a Chinese worker was killed in Friday's suicide bombing in Jerusalem, Israel, and other two were wounded with another missing.

Zhang said that the Chinese Embassy in Israel had sent officials to Jerusalem to identify the dead and wounded together with the companies that the Chinese worked for, soon after the bomb's explosion.

The Chinese government expressed sympathy and condolence to the workers and their families, Zhang said.

China condemned the violence targeted at innocent civilians and strongly called for Israel and Palestine to stop violent confrontation as soon as possible and prevent more people from being killed and injured, she added.

The government also hoped Chinese people in Israel and those planning to go there to take care of themselves and keep in frequent touch with their families and contact the Chinese Embassy in Israel in case of emergency, Zhang said.
