Beijing to Host Sino-French Air Show

Preparations are underway at Beijing Nanyuan Airport for the first Sino-French aerial stunt show on October 7. The Chinese parachuting team has already arrived and putting the final touches preparations.

Technicians have already examined the four Y-5 airplanes to ensure their safety, and the Chinese parachutists are still completing drills ahead of the big day.

The aerobatics show is being held up as yet another example of the strong friendship between China and France. Parachutists Chen Li and Zuo Yan'ni will carry the two country's national flags in the first part of the demonstration.

Zuo Yanni said, "In order to show our respect to France, as well as the might of our army, we are carefully carrying out preparations, in order to pull the show off smoothly."

Preparations for the aerial stunt show should be completed by tonight.
