Delegations Visit Chinese Rescue Teams

Two Chinese delegations have visited rescue teams respectively working in Banda Aceh in Indonesia and Phuket in Thailand.

Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei headed the government delegation Saturday and passed on a message of support from President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao to a rescue team in Banda Aceh.

He's hailed the work being done by the rescue team, and hoped they will continue to save lives.

Another delegation led by Vice Health Minister Jiang Zuojun visited a Chinese medical team in Phuket. The 27-member team has successfully completed its rescue work and is returning to China.
