UN Refuses to Consider Taiwan Representation

The General Committee of the UN General Assembly decided at its 60th session on Tuesday not to include an item on the agenda of its current sitting to discuss representation of Taiwan's authorities.

It is the 13th consecutive time that the General Assembly has blocked Taiwan's attempt to join the world inter-governmental body of sovereign states.
