More Chinese Find Job Through Internet

“It was the computer network that helped me find a job as a security officer in the shopping center,” the 46-year-old Chen Weizhong said as he pointed to the computer in the community office near his home.

“The unemployed can find a job immediately through the computer network, if they are not too choosy.”

More and more jobless people in the city of Hangzhou, capital of coastal Zhejiang province, are trying to find a job in the same way as Chen.

Latest statistics show that the network already helped resettle over 20,000 unemployed last year in the city.

The city has initially formed a branch network from operation headquarters of the city level down to networks in every community.

Currently, there are about 1,500 pieces of job information published on the network everyday.

Those who want jobs can also get the latest information like relevant survey reports through the network.

The network is believed to help the jobless enormously in the search of jobs.
