CISCO to Invest US$32 Million in China

John Chambers, president of world leading network equipment developer CISCO, has announced that his company will spend US$32 million establishing its Shanghai research centre in the next five years.

Chambers notes that the research centre will be set up at the third quarter of the 2005 fiscal year of CISCO and it will be devoted to the development of audio technology.

In addition, Chambers indicates the new centre will be the largest in Asia.

John Chambers has replaced Bill Gates as NO.1 among the top 50 most influential IT figures.
