Qingdao Haier Co. Ltd., one of China's leading appliance makers, said Sunday it had set a sales goal of 10 million air conditioners next year to become the world's biggest supplier of the product.

Haier became China's largest air conditioner maker with a 19.5 percent market share in the first three quarters of this year, the company said.
