Sino-US Trade Benefits Each Other

China says Sino-U.S. relation should be defined by common interest and common ground rather than confrontation and competition.

Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai says the U.S. has advantages over China in the area of high technology, while China is the fastest growing market. He says they can benefit from each other.

Bo Xilai says that U.S. export to China has created more than 500,000 job opportunities for the U.S.

The Minister also notes that trade disputes between the two countries are inevitable but they are not competition at the same level due to their gaps in development.

Bo Xilai says China will continue to promote a transparent legal environment for foreign investors in China and fulfill its WTO commitment by enhancing intellectual property right protection.
