SME Expo Held in Guangzhou

A Sino-French small and medium sized enterprise expo opened Monday in Guangzhou. The size of the show is three times the size of the previous event of its kind.

Some 7,000 business people from 70 countries and regions are taking part in the expo. About 160 French and 5,300 Chinese firms are represented.

French entrepreneurs say the event provides a platform for communication and cooperation between Chinese and French enterprises.

At the exhibition, there are also firms from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. These companies are mainly engaged in Informational Technology, textiles, home appliances, and the food and beverage sector.
