Anti-dumping Research Center Established
An anti-dumping research center was set up in Beijing Friday in a bid to provide high-level consultation services for the Chinese government and enterprises and train experts in the field.

The research center, which is affiliated to the University of International Business and Economics, will also collect the relevant legal documents of China's major trading partners, study legal cases and host international symposiums.

As a major industrial and trading country, China has reportedlybecome the main target of some countries' anti-dumping measures. About 500 anti-dumping cases against China had occurred by the endof August, 14 percent of the total worldwide.

Experts say China still lacks talented people in this area, andmany enterprises are disadvantaged due to ignorance of foreign anti-dumping provisions and investigation processes.
