Int'l Headhunting Fair Opens in East China
The 2002 China International Personnel Exchange Fair and Talks was inaugurated in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, east China, on Wednesday.

The event has attracted over 800 headhunting companies and representatives of Chinese students studying abroad. More than 3,500 representatives of local employers are also at the fair seeking needed talent for their companies.

The event is jointly sponsored by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, the provincial government, and the Nanjing municipal government.

Over 600 pavilions have been set up in six areas of the Nanjing International Exhibition Center.

Over 270 overseas Chinese students are in attendance, armed with some 374 technological projects, seeking potential business partners among the domestic participants.

Also on Wednesday, the Nanjing Branch of the China International Personnel Market was established in the city.
