Guangdong's Foreign Trade Exceeds US$200 billion
The foreign trade volume of south China's Guangdong province exceeded US$200 billion in the first 11 months of this year, according to statistics from the provincial foreign trade and economic cooperation department.

The exact foreign trade volume was US$201.32 billion, with 107.94 billion of exports. Compared with the corresponding period last year, the total trade volume was up by 25.6 percent and exports increased by 24.8 percent.

Every month in that period, Guangdong's exports had maintained a two-digit growth, while the monthly export volume of the province remained above 10 billion dollars for five months in a row from July, local officials said.

Statistics also showed that in the first 11 months, the province absorbed US$11.77 billion of overseas direct investment, an increase of 23.5 percent year-on-year.
