Nestle Products May Contain Genetically-Modified Materials: Nestle
But the company says if there are any their safety can be guaranteed and conforms to relevant Chinese rules and international regulations.

The statement comes after Green Peace revealed that Nestle's six products on the Chinese market contain genetically-modified substances.

The company says 99% of its products in the Chinese markets are made in China and most of the ingredients come from China.

Nestle also denies that it takes a“double-standard” towards different countries regarding genetically-modified materials.

China's Agriculture Ministry says Nestle's six products do not belong to the category of genetically-modified products that need special labels.
