HK 33rd Wedding Expo Opens

Hong Kong launched the 33rd Christmas wedding expo on Friday at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.

Over 70 booths have been set up by companies to promote and exhibit various kinds of wedding services, products and accessories. A couple of wedding service companies organized fashion shows to provide visitors with the latest trend of and idea about wedding gown and evening dress.

Apart from those commonly known services, visitors will also have the chance to come upon a brand new service at this year's wedding expo. A booth named "speaking roses" has introduced a technology of carving words on flowers from America.

Representatives of the booth said that it has been less than a year since such a technology was developed. They expressed the hope that the new service can be widely known by the public through promoting it at the expo.

They said that carving words on petals is a new and special method of transmitting messages and will not cause any damages to the flowers.

The organizer said the three-day expo is expected to attract a total of 15,000 visitors.
