Consumers Tend to Buy Famous Brands

A nationwide survey shows that close to 70 percent of consumers in China prefer to buy products with famous brand names. And more consumers are buying high quality products. 
 
Experts say an increasing number of Chinese consumers are buying high quality products.

Most famous foreign and domestic brands currently on the Chinese market are household electrical appliances like TVs and washing machines.

However, experts say that most China-made brands focus on affordability and immediate functionality, while foreign brands often address consumers' future needs.
