Salaries Dropping in IT Sector

An online poll carried out by a Chinese human resources company indicates that salary levels are falling in certain industries, and most notably in the IT sector.

According to the respondents, those working in the communications sector earn the highest salaries, followed by medical and financial staff.

Having a degree and a foreign language are said to be the main criteria governing salary levels among the country's increasing number of white-collar workers.
