Police were investigating an alleged attempted rape involving a Japanese supervisor and his Chinese subordinate in a foreign-funded enterprise in Bao'an.

The female victim, 19, said she was asked to go to the supervisor's office Thursday night, the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported Sunday. The supervisor would not let her go when she said she wanted to go back to work.

A few minutes later, the supervisor allegedly appeared naked from his rest room and tried to rape her, the girl claimed. She allegedly had to fight him off resulting in slight injures to her chest.

The girl cried and her brother, who heard the noise downstairs, allegedly broke into the office and slapped the supervisor.

The police investigation was continuing.
