A coal mine gas explosion trapped four miners on Thursday morning in east China's Jiangxi Province.

The explosion occurred at about 9:40 AM at Yongshan Coal Mine of Leping Mining Company under Jiangxi Coal Corporation Group.

Rescue efforts are under way. No deaths have been reported, according to the local rescue headquarters.
