Rail Services Delayed After Man Killed By Train in HK

Train services on the Kowloon Cantion Railway (KCR) were disrupted Sunday for about half an hour after a man was hit and killed by a train at Kowloon Tong station.

According to the KCR, the 32-year-old man fell off the railway at about 2:30 p.m. when the train stopped at the station. The windows of the train were broken.

The man was confirmed dead when rescue men arrived, the KCR said.

The incident forced services between Mongkok and Tai Wai stations to suspend at one stage. Passengers were packed at Kowloon Tong station for some time. Half an hour later, the services resumed.
