China's First "Gene Clinic" Opens in Hangzhou

A patient's relatives consult an American medical expert Zheng Xuande (R1) in China's first "gene clinic", in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province Oct. 8, 2005. The gene clinic opened by the heredity and genome department of the No. 1 Hospital attached to the Zhejiang University 's medical college, offers free medical service to patients through gene diagnosis technique.
