An ongoing building project atop the elite Shanghai World Trade Tower to be used for a trading place in the metropolis caught fire Sunday but with no casualties, said local police.

The fire broke out at around 7 PM Sunday atop the Shanghai World Trade Tower, located at the confluence of East Nanjing Road and Central Tibet Road. Fire departments put out the fire in 20 minutes, police said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
