China Develops New Anti-cancer Drug 'Endostar'

A new type of anti-cancer drug called Endostar, which restrains tumors by cutting nutrition supply to them, has been successfully developed, according to Dazhong Daily of Shandong Province.

The paper reports that Endostar is world's first anti-cancer drug that contains endostatin. The successful development of Endostar signifies that China has become a medically advanced country in developing anti-tumor medicine.

Endostar has been ratified by the State Drug and Food Administration. The drug has won a patent in China and applied for two international patents.
