Suzhou-Nantong Yangtze Bridge

Workers are busy building a main tower of a Yangtze River bridge in east China's Jiangsu Province November 29, 2005. The main tower will be as high as about 300 meters. The 8,206-meter Suzhou-Nantong Bridge, over the Yangtze River, will connect two major prosperous Yangtze delta cities -- Suzhou and Nantong and will be the largest suspension bridge in the world. Total investment is expected to be 6.45 billion yuan and it will take six years to complete.
