Third Heavy Snowfall Hits Shandong

A freezing Chinese man walks in the snow in Weihai, east China's Shandong Province, Wednesday morning, December 21, 2005. The snowfall began to hit Weihai and Yantai from Tuesday evening and was expected to last for three days, according to local weather bureau. It is the third major snowfall in Shandong Province this month. Snow in the two cities in the past two weeks accumulated to over 1 meter, breaking a 50-year record.
