A police braving the snow, directs traffic in Zhengzhou,capital city of central China's Henan province on January 19, 2006. A heavy snow hit most parts of the province from the night of Jan. 17 to the morning of Jan. 19, causing a sudden drop in tempreture and traffic congestion. The Zhengzhou municipal goverment has launched an emergency plan to deal with the snow disaster.
