Rural Pupils Get Free Textbooks

Pupils in grade two of Qiaotou Primary School in Qionghai City's Jiaji Town just received their new textbooks and said: "our books are free of charge!" Starting from the spring semester this year, 890,000 rural school children in Hainan Province will not have to pay for their textbooks. At present, 980,000 sets of free textbooks have been delivered to eligible pupils and students in Hainan.
