Fengshen Hits China's Northeast Coast
The tropical storm Fengshen hit Qingdao City in east China's Shandong Province at dawn Sunday and will bring more rain to the country's northeastern coastal areas, according to the Central Meteorological Station.

Meteorological monitoring shows that Fengshen blew into Jiaonan City in Shandong early Sunday morning. The storm will continue to weaken as the center moves northwestward at 15 km per hour.

Due to the combination of the storm and cold air flows, there will be moderate to heavy rain in Shandong, Hebei and Shanxi provinces as well as Tianjin Municipality Sunday. Some areas in those provinces may experience rainstorms during that time.

Fresh breezes to moderate gales are expected in the Yellow and Bohai seas as well as in Jiaodong Peninsula.
