2 dead, 31 Missing in Yunnan Landslide
An estimated 39 people were buried as a result of a massive landslide in Southwest China's Yunnan Province Monday evening.

At press time, six injured people had been rescued and two dead bodies recovered. The other 31 remained missing.

The landslide occurred at about 7:50 pm Monday at the Miaobai Township in Yanjin County, according to local officials.

Rescue teams rushed to the site. The injured have been sent to a nearby hospital.
