Construction Workers Rescued in Tibet
All 72 construction workers trapped by the flooding at the construction site of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway at the Tanggula Range had been rescued as of Thursday night.

There were no reports of deaths or injuries.

Following torrential rains on Wednesday, the railway construction headquarters received an emergency call Wednesday night, and rescue work was immediately organized, according to Lu Chunfang, director general at the headquarters.

A rescue team from the People's Liberation Army garrison at Lhasa was sent to the scene early Thursday morning. The Tanggula Range is over 500 km away from Lhasa.
