The first group of deputies to the upcoming annual session of China's top legislature, the National People's Congress has arrived in Beijing.

The NPC deputies come from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

At the same time, the first group of members of the forthcoming annual session of the country's top advisory body, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, or CPPCC, also reached Beijing.

They are from central China's Henan province.

The 10th NPC will begin this Friday, while the CPPCC kicks off this Wednesday.
