Seventeen people were killed when a coach overturned in Fengcheng of Dandong City in northeast China's Liaoning Province Sunday night.

The accident occurred at a spot between Shenyang, capital of Liaoning, and Kuandian County at 23:40 Sunday. A total of 31 passengers on board the coach. Seventeen people including 12 women died on the spot. The other 14 injured people were rushed to hospital.

Investigation on the case is underway.
