Chinese Trade Minister Meets APEC Counterparts

Shi Guangsheng, minister of foreign trade and economic cooperation of China, met with four counterparts from members of the Asia- Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Tuesday afternoon at the Shanghai International Convention Center.

The four guests are:Pehin Dato Abdul Rahman Taib, minister of industry and primary resources of Brunei,Rafidah Aziz ,Malaysian Trade Minister, Jim Sutton, New Zealand minister for trade negotiations, George Yeo Yong-Boon, minister for trade and industry of Singapore, who are attending this year's APEC ministerial meeting.

Shi said China have always maintained a friendly and practical relationship with these countries and should work together to push bilateral economic and trade cooperation to a higher level.
