Chinese Vice-Premier Meets Lao Party Delegation

Li Lanqing, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and vice-premier of the State Council, met Thursday in Beijing with a delegation of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party led by Bouasone Bouphavanh, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, and director of the general office of the party.

Li briefed Lao guests on China's social and economic development and also exchanged views with them on the strengthening of party-to-party relations as well as the friendly relations between the two countries.
