President of the United States George W. Bush wound up his two-day working visit to China and left Beijing for home Friday afternoon.
During the visit, Bush held "positive, constructive and fruitful" talks with Chinese President Jiang Zemin and the two heads of state reached broad and important consensus.
Bush is the sixth incumbent US president to visit China. He met with Jiang in Shanghai last October while attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting.
